If you've been to Ireland before and you're used to the narrow roads, the different traffic laws and are travelling with just your partner or close friend then coming to Ireland should be fine. But bear in mind you are here to explore, to enjoy yourself and to leave feeling relaxed, not more stressed than you were when you arrived.
For people coming to Ireland for the first time and don’t know where exactly they hope to be exploring or where they will be staying every night it can be stressful. You shouldn't need to be stressed about driving, going on wrong directions, missing the most popular spots or stuck in traffic in Dublin or Belfast city centre. You'll have better things to look at than the road.
Driving and especially parking in Irish cities can be a nightmare with very little free parking, busy roundabouts and one-way systems that will test the most patient of drivers. Don’t try to see everything to experience more if you choose to drive yourself.
When you visit a new country it adds extra pressure you don’t need when you're racing through the list of tourist spots in the guide book to try to cram everything in.
Go to fewer less visited places. Doing less doesn’t mean you’re missing out as conversely it is often how you may actually experience more.
